The theme for last weeks football games should be STATEMENT WEEK. The Gaffney Indians made a statement with their win over Mauldin, that they aren't dead yet. The Chesnee Eagles made the statement that they are the team to beat in their region. The South Carolina Gamecocks made a statement that they are a serious SEC Title contender, with their blow out of Georgia. The Clemson Tigers made a statement that they are not dead in their quest to win the ACC Atlantic Division, with their win over Georgia Tech. The Carolina Panthers made a statement that they are not a good football team right now after falling to 1 and 4 after losing to Seattle.
I had another strong week in my football picks last week going 7 and 3. My record for the season is 48 and 22. I have been 69% right in my picks for the season thus far. Let's look at this weeks picks.
HIGH SCHOOL GAMES
Byrnes @ Gaffney..... As fans of these two schools know this is a very heated rivalry. The Indians have won two of the last three meetings but, the one they lost was the State Championship Game last December. St. Louis @ Miami..... The Dolphins have been a hard team for me to figure out this season. I pick them to lose and they win and I pick them to win and they lose. I am going to try picking them to win again and see what happens..... Miami 20 St. Louis 17
